You are my hiding place;you will protect me from troubleand surround me with songs of deliverance.
I like this. Sounds like we're in the middle of a song that protects us and whisks us away from trouble. Music that not only calms the savage beast but covers us like Kevlar. Music is different in the spiritual realm than it is on this earth. Here it inspires, moves and provides an audio backdrop to the events of our lives. But spiritually speaking -- it is protection, wisdom, a means for telling God what we really feel about Him. I believe that a song can shield us, armor us against the only weapons that really can kill us.
We rely on our senses and there is so much out there that we can not sense and that doesn't make sense when measured by our senses. We only hear, we only see, we only taste, we only speak, we only feel what God let's us hear, see, taste and know. And music? It is a weapon, an instrument of protection.
God let me see how You see. Compared to You, I see like a bee, a myriad of images, broken like mosaic. You see the complete picture, entire and whole.
Lord knows.
